Raga Bihag – Soothing Evening Melody

Bihag is a serene evening raga gliding on meend and melody. Gandhar (Ga) and Nikhad (Ni) steer its charm, as smooth transitions from Ga to Sa, Ni to Pa, or Pa to Sudh Ga unfold. Its hallmark is legato—a seamless flow that draws music and musician into deep absorption. Bihag is not just heard; it is felt as evening calmness and spiritual grace.
